The approach we use is well defined, documented, and proven.

Envisioning

Our first step is to work with you on the Envisioning Phase where all of the business objectives and site requirements are documented and agreed upon. During this phase our consultants will gather the information about what you expect from the web site. This includes things like on-line forms, integration to Microsoft Office files, integration to a database, streaming video, security, and e-commerce.

Planning

The next phase is the Planning  Phase, which is where the actual design of the site is done. During this phase our consultants will put together an initial design (including prototypes as required) for your review and approval. Our focus will be on the architecture of the site, with special attention to the highest risk elements. Once the design has been approved, the consultants will start work on the elements required.

Developing

The Developing Phase is where the actual creation of the different web elements takes place. During this phase our consultants will build and assemble the various elements required to support the design elements that were agreed upon in the previous step. By utilizing an iterative approach to this development phase, we are able to publish the sites when functional elements are integrated and tested. This is accomplished by segmenting the development schedule in such a way as to allow portions of the web site to be published while other sections are still being developed. The result is that integration of the web components is done throughout the project rather than at the very end, which leads to more thorough and complete testing.

Deployment

The final phase is the Deployment Phase, which is where the web site is published to the server. During this phase our consultants will publish the site to a test server for validation testing and final approval. Once the web site implementation has been approved, the consultants will publish the site to the production server for public consumption.

Support

Follow-on support is provided as a Time-And-Materials or Monthly contract. It includes making modifications and updates to the site as required. It may also include items such as registration with search engines or help in promoting your site with business partners. Our consultants can put together the type of support contract that best meets your business needs.

Managed Business Consulting, Inc. has started working with Office Paper Systems, Inc. to design and build a new Microsoft based customer information management system that will provide more accurate the information for day-to-day operations as well as provide better tracking and reporting on operations. This new system will allow Office Paper Systems, Inc. to manage the increase in business and the need to provide real-time data that is critical to making business decisions.
